This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Rüya Tabiri mobile application ("App"), why and how we process it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Data We Collect & Services We Use

To provide the App, we rely on the following third-party service providers and process the data indicated below:

Supabase (Authentication & Database)

To create your account and sign you in, we store your email address and a unique user ID. We also store your dream journal content (dream texts, titles, tags, dates) and your subscription status securely in the Supabase database.

Supabase Storage (Image Storage)

AI-generated images for your dreams are stored in Supabase Storage and associated with your account.

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions and validate purchases. RevenueCat processes your purchase history and subscription status. We never see or store your payment card details; payments are handled by the Apple App Store / Google Play.

OpenAI (AI Analysis & Transcription)

The dream text you enter is sent to OpenAI for interpretation. If you record a dream by voice, the audio is sent to OpenAI to be transcribed into text. This means your user input is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing.

fal.ai (Image Generation)

To generate an image representing your dream, your dream text or a derived text prompt is sent to fal.ai. This also means your user input is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing.

Sentry (Crash & Diagnostics)

We use Sentry to detect and fix crashes and technical errors. The diagnostic data collected is anonymous and includes technical information such as device type, OS version and error traces.

PostHog (Product Analytics — EU)

We use PostHog product analytics to understand and improve how the App is used (e.g. which screens are visited, feature usage). PostHog data is hosted on European Union (EU) servers.

2. Why We Process Your Data

To create your account and let you sign in,
To store your dream journal and provide AI-powered dream interpretation and imagery,
To manage your subscriptions and purchases,
To detect errors and improve the stability of the App,
To analyze usage trends in order to improve the product experience.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data for advertising. Your data is shared only with the third-party processors listed above that are necessary to provide the service, and with competent authorities where required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and dream journal content is permanently deleted from our systems within a reasonable period.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR and KVKK you have the following rights:

Right to erasure: You can delete your account and all your data directly from within the App (Profile → Account → Delete Account).
Right of access & portability: You can request a copy (export) of the personal data we hold about you.
You may also exercise your rights to rectification, restriction of processing, and to object to processing.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page. We recommend reviewing the policy periodically.
